Subscription Plans, Pricing and Billing

SpainTrades offers three subscription plans for tradespeople, each with a 3-month free trial. This guide explains what each plan includes, how billing works after the trial, and what happens when you upgrade, downgrade, or cancel.

New tradespeople start on the Professional plan by default, which offers the best balance of features for a growing business. You can switch to Basic or upgrade to Premium at any time.

Quote Forwarding Allowances

A "quote forward" is counted each time a customer's quote request is delivered to your inbox. On the Professional plan you receive 50 per calendar month. If you reach your limit, new requests will queue until the start of the next month.

Basic and Premium plans have unlimited quote forwards. On Professional, the 50-per-month cap is offset by priority listing β€” you appear higher in search results, so enquiries tend to be more targeted. If 50/month isn't enough, upgrading to Premium removes the cap entirely.

IVA (Spanish VAT)

All prices shown are excluding IVA. Spanish VAT at 21% is added at checkout. Your invoices will show the net amount, the IVA amount, and the total charged. If your subscription is a business expense and you are registered as an autΓ³nomo or limited company, you may be able to reclaim the IVA in your quarterly VAT return β€” speak to your gestor for advice.

How Billing Works After Your Trial

Your 3-month free trial starts from the day your account is activated. No card is required during this period. Three days before the trial ends, you'll receive an email reminder.

At the end of the trial you'll be directed to the billing portal to add a payment method. Once added, your subscription begins and you're charged monthly on the same date each month.

Upgrading or Downgrading Mid-Cycle

You can change your plan at any time from the Billing section of your dashboard. When you upgrade, the new rate applies immediately and a prorated charge covers the remainder of the current billing period. When you downgrade, the change takes effect at the start of the next billing cycle. Any features that exceed the new plan limits (e.g., portfolio photos beyond the new cap) will be deactivated until you remove the excess.

Cancelling Your Subscription

You can cancel at any time from the Billing section, which opens the Stripe customer portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period β€” you keep full access until then. Your profile is deactivated when the subscription ends.

Reactivating After Cancellation

If you decide to return, simply log in and choose a new plan. There is no lock-in and no reactivation fee. Your profile content is retained and will be visible again once you restart a subscription and are re-approved by the admin team.
